Tonight's loss to Louisville was unfortunate, but Shari said they were big and fast and played a very technical game. They had 9 returning Seniors, and Shari said it showed. Our girls all played well, but they were just no match for the size and experience of the other team.On a good note, Britt started and played the entire first half. She sat about 15 minutes of the second half, and then played the rest of the game. 75 minutes is awesome for a Freshman. She said the center mid for Louisville was 6' tall and really fast, but Britt held her own and they were about 50/50 against each other. Shari said no one from EKU really stood out as having a great game or a terrible game, she said everyone looked like they were playing their best.
Shari did say a few parents in the stand would yell "send it" when Britt had the ball ... it may take them awhile to get used to how she plays.... she is never going to "send it"....
