The afternoon session consisted of more drills, shooting, and of course, running. She texted us that it was HOT, and Shari looked online and it was around 100. Not counting the humidity, of course.
The big news today is that they were told they are leaving tomorrow for 3 days. Apparently they are staying in cabins (somewhere) for a little team-building vacation. They weren't really told anything other than each cabin will be responsible for cooking a meal for the entire team, and they all have to turn in their cell phones tomorrow at noon. Britt sounded excited about it.
They have their first game in Indiana on Wednesday at 7p, so we assume the cabins are somewhere between Kentucky and Indiana, and they will just drive straight to the game on Wednesday. I am also going to assume they will still be doing fitness.
I would say that it seems Britt has settled in to a routine, and she really seems to be liking the University and the girls. She told her friend (that is also going to school in Kentucky, leaving this week) that she had a great time refereeing the younger girls last night, and it was beautiful there and she was really happy to be there. So that will help us sleep a little better tonight... :)
